inconvenient physical conditions for knitters

...one of these must be this inflammation of the tissue that connects your thumbs with the rest of your hands. What on earth is it called in English??? It gives you pains in your thumbs and wrists. You get it from using the computer to much, and from... knitting. Which is why it is so inconvenient. If you do keep knitting it does not go away.

Anyway I've had this for a week. There were some days without knitting :-(
A couple of days without the computer too, and luckily it feels better now. Yesterday I could not keep myself from knitting, so I worked on a bag I am trying to design. I used a lot of time calculating, but until you actually knit it, you will not know for sure how it comes out. As I told my dad: 'In my head it looks beautiful'. More on this later.

I am still in the queue for knitters in Europe. There are 150 on the list (maybe the maximum???) and 40 (FORTY!) on the waiting list. Maybe we should start a ring called 'knitters-in-Europe-to-be'.
I'll have to see and get on another ring. Otherwise nobody will ever read my wise words on knitting and such and what a waste.

Pictures and patterns will make your blog attractive I believe. I am working on both.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome - that's the name in English. I hope to be able to avoid that malady!
