It is still spring in the land of knitty!

How come? Even here in Denmark it is summer! Anyway, the reason why I wonder of course is that I find knitty the most fabulous knitting site on the net. Even though I've only done one project from it (the Hallowig) almost everything on it is cool, groovy, or as they say in both Danish and Dutch: fat!

Anyway, here's my first posting with a picture. It is the most actively worked on project: a shawl. It would have been better if I had bought one skein more of the yarn, which is a blend of mohair and acryl, but when I found out, the store already had sold out. Now there are two options left: Leaving it kind of short, which even may be a good idea, or buying some contrastive yarn to go with it. I'll knit the rest of the skein and see whether it is long enough.

Btw knitting with this yarn is not good when you're wearing black clothing. I look like having been in a fight with a white-haired dog afterwards. The shawl thus will not be combined with dark clothes, once it is finished.
