Real knitters do it standing up!

Can you knit in Legoland. Well you could, if you want to do it while standing in line - God knows there will be plenty of time to do it. I didn't, but I should have. That way I would have finished one pot holder and started with a next.

We just returned from a 3 day trip to Jutland. We stayed in a rented cabin in a nice place near Billund (Legoland). A recommendable place, if you have kids. They have loads of children's toys and games, both in- and outdoors. See http://www.torben-schmidt.dk/toesbygaarde/index.html

How to knit standing up? Shepherds used to do it while herding their sheep. That way they earned extra money selling socks. Knitting standing up will only do for small projects with one or maybe two colours, and you'll have to knit continental style. Make sure the thread comes from within your skein or your yarn will want to roll all kinds of places. Yarn will best be kept in a (loose and big) pocket or a small bag. Shepherds (at least in Denmark) used to have a special pin with wich they attached the yarn to their clothing, close to their collar bone. I think a bag is better. You can put the whole thing away in no time.

Knitting like this makes it possible to knit standing in line in legoland, disneyland or places like it. I did not see one person do it, though (incl. me). Next time I definetely take my knitting!

Let us see how the knitting will come along the next week. Jørgen just bought me the halfblooded prince, so I will probably have my nose in a book in the days to come.

I'll ad pictures when I am back at work next week.
