handspun 2
Guess what?
Raad eens?
Prøv at gætte..!

it is addictive.
3 colours of nepalese wool (lavender, kobalt and white) carded together and spun on the drop spindle.

Wow! Nice colour! And the texture is such that after some months of spinning you can't make that any more ;) Where did you get Nepalese wool?
Since you are interested, I'll send you some Finnwool - after easter, most likely. Of the Dutch sheep breeds I've spun Texel (white and blue; love the blue!), Swifter and East Friesian milk sheep. They are good fibres for a beginner because they are not too slippery. They do not make a very soft yarn, though. But you live in Denmark, right? I don't think I've tried any Danish wool yet. The new Spindeforeningen (www.spindeforeningen.dk) could maybe help you in finding fleeces in Denmark...
Het ziet er erg mooi uit!

it looks lovely!
my sister gave me a drop spindle and some wool for christmas. i've been afraid to try it out because i don't know that i have time for another addiction right now. it looks like so much fun though!
Je meent het...dit is geweldig! en hoe kom je nou weer aan Nepalese wol?
Je kan ook twijnen met een tol. Dat weet je?
Echt schitterend.
