Sock blank, again
Step one: Knit a piece of fabric from two skeins of sock wool (this is what is called a blank)
(2 ways of cheating possible: 1. Buy the knitted fabric, fx. from KnitPicks, 2. knit the fabric on a machine, like I did on a Prym maxi knitting mill)
Step two: Dye the piece of fabric. Make patterns on it - they will knit up in interesting ways! Use Kool-Aid, food coloring or other stuff. See the KnitPicks site for interesting results.
Step three: Knit two socks(or mittens, see previous post) at one time directly from the unraveling blank - alternatively, wind up two balls of yarn from the blank and knit one at the time. You'll end up with two virtually similar socks/mittens.
Step four: Enjoy the result.

wauw, dankzij deze post heb ik zelf ook een prym maxi knitting mill aangeschaft en ik ben ook verkocht! En dat terwijl ik de eerste blank pas net heb gebreid en nog niet eens geverfd... Brei jij ze trouwens rond of plat?
It took me a little while to figure out why the socks would be identical. You knit the blank from two strands of yarn, right? I better read that previous post.
